How it works

Step 1: Search first.

Type the film or series. If a subtitle already exists, pick another title — two people translating the same film is the one mistake this page exists to prevent.
Step 2: Ask for the title.

Say what it is, the language you will produce, and anything the team should know. A trailer or IMDb link helps us find it.
Step 3: We approve it.

You get an email in සිංහල or English, and 30 days to deliver. Nothing is held against you if you need longer — write and ask.
Step 4: Upload the ZIP.

One archive, up to 500 KB, with your .srt (or .ass, .ssa, .vtt) inside. It goes to the team, not to the site.
Step 5: Checked, then published.

We read it, ask for a change if one is needed, and publish the post with your name on the byline.

What to send

A ZIP of up to 500 KB holding the subtitle file; a read-me beside it is fine. No executables or scripts — the upload is checked before a person sees it.

One at a time

Up to 5 open requests at once. An approval nothing is delivered against closes after 30 days, so the title is free for someone else.

Your name

The name you enter here is the credit on the post. It is the whole reward on offer, and we do not use it for anything else.

Questions

Every request has a page where the team's messages arrive. Nothing about your work is decided without telling you why.
